Tenure-track Assistant Professor of Statistics

The Yale University Department of Statistics invites applications for
an assistant professor appointment beginning July 1, 2010. The
Department seeks excellence in the theory and practice of statistics
with a significant data-driven component in research and teaching
activities. Abundant interdisciplinary and collaborative opportunities
exist with faculty in the social sciences, physical sciences and
engineering, computer science, biological sciences, and medicine as
well as through participation in the Yale Probabilistic Networks
Group, programs in Computational Biology and Bioinformatics, and
Applied Mathematics. The Department encourages excellence in
teaching, and faculty members teach a broad range of courses at both
